GOP goes berserk
I write this on Friday, 10/4/2024 — just a month before election day! We’ve had an October surprise, a GOOD one, a great one! The economic numbers are out, and boy, are they looking great! Unemployment numbers have — FALLEN! Average hourly earnings have — INCREASED.
The economy has added jobs, jobs, and more jobs—72,000 more jobs in the months of July and August than previously thought. See that rocket? It’s the economy soaring up, up, and away!! See what else has fallen? It’s Republican jaws! Yes, Republicans are NOT taking the news that the economy is doing wonderfully, all that well. Actually, they’re taking the news terribly.
Case in point: a certain Senator from Florida, known as Robot Rubio, went bonkers and actually said he didn’t believe the numbers and that they were fake! Oh, little Marco, little Marco, little Marco. I know you’re Donald J. Trump’s wholly-owned mechanical robot, but this is humiliating, even for you.
President Biden heard about this and wasted no time in mocking little Rubio, saying: “Anything the MAGA Republicans don’t like, they call fake. Anything.”
It’s true. But wait! There’s plenty more where Rubio came from. Whom do I speak of? Why the little red fox, of course! Fox News is going crazy, crazy and more crazy, crazy like a fox as they desperately seek to turn this great news into bad news and 1984 their audience.
A panel of little red foxes insisted this was bad news because one has to disregard some of the jobs created in the leisure and hospitality industry. Oh boy! I bet swing state Nevada won’t be pleased to hear Fox dissing the THAT industry, which is Nevada’s bread and butter. Of course, there’s the miserable cat-lady man himself, “Just dumb Vance.” Lying again, Vance absurdly insisted that most of the jobs were taken by undocumented immigrants, so the numbers should be ignored.
Does it seem to you like Vance has a rather unhealthy preoccupation with Immigrants and women’s reproductive rights? Does he ever speak of anything else? But of course, all these liars can’t deny the truth.
They wanted the economy to be dust in the wind, but it’s instead a gold trophy that should go straight to President Biden and Vice President Harris. It’s also a mother load of problems for Republicans, all of whom appear to be losing their minds over this great news.
