GOP deletes embarrassing tweet after Kanye West meltdown

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There is no doubt that Kanye West – also known as “ye,” is deranged. And people are abandoning him right and left. That is as it should be. Kanye West is a vile man, and we are watching him destroy himself in real-time. Do you know who DID NOT denounce him? The GOP.

For two months, members of Twitter had to suffer through seeing the Republican House Judiciary’s tweet that said “Kanye. Elon. Trump.” They wouldn’t delete it. Just like they wouldn’t speak out about Nick Fuentes (most of them). On and on it went. So many on social media called for the Republican party to delete this tweet.

And how difficult could it have been to hit the delete button? But they couldn’t even manage to get that right. And now, FINALLY, after a full two months, the GOP has deleted the tweet. This was a long time coming:

And it was way too little, much too late. This behavior from West is not new. The GOP knew who he was. Just like they know who Nick Fuentes is. Just like they know who Donald Trump is.

The GOP is insidious. They have a history of making insidious decisions. I want to rename them the insidious old party. They cannot manage to get one thing right. The fact that they even still exist as a party is unbelievable. The only reason the GOP deleted the tweet is that West came out and said, “I like Hitler.” Awful yes. But hardly the first words of hate from him.

The GOP cannot manage to open their mouths to condone ANYONE, even people as bad as this. And they’ve become worse at it — not better. The party of insidious decisions. I predict this will return to haunt them because the American people will remember. They’re not stupid, as they showed during the midterms.
