GOP crazy train goes off the rails
Candidate quality matters. Nearly every human being in politics agrees with that. So this writer’s question is: What the heck is wrong with the GOP, and why didn’t they get the memo? I ask this ever-important question because this year’s crop of GOP losers is possibly worse than anyone they’ve put out before. It’s a broken train stalled on the tracks full of nincompoops, idiots, and misfits. Let’s have a look at some of the GOP’s finest.
Arizona’s Kari Lake. At the time of this writing, she is going down, down and down in the polls. Lake’s engine has stalled, and nothing will bring it back to life. Maybe this is because she is an election-denying cuckoo for cocoa puffs failure who has yet to win elected office. And Arizonians seem to dislike her intensely.
Then we have Ohio’s Bernie Moreno. A human gaffe machine, Moreno can’t stop making dumb remarks about women and abortion. What IS it with the GOP and Ohio? Are they trying to lose there? It would seem as though they are.
Also on board the Choo-Choo train is Mark Robinson. Is the man even in the race anymore? Who can tell? He has almost virtually no staff since most of said staff walked out on him. Oh well, that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
Then there’s Montana Senator John Tester’s opponent, Tim Sheehy, who recently got in trouble for making derogatory comments about Native Americans. Surely you can do better, Montana!
That is before we even get to the smorgasbord, which comes after the long line of appetizers. This extremely tasteless smorgasbord are two men — Donald Trump and JD Vance. Both of them are now persona non-grata in Springfield, Ohio, which makes things difficult, especially for Vance since he happens to be the Senator from Ohio much as we wish it weren’t so.
This staggering stupid train full of revolting mutineers has plunged any attempt at candidate quality from the GOP into the muck. They are all fools, all represent the very worst of the GOP, and most, if not all of them, will never be elected.
The GOP keeps on keeping on with somehow, some way finding the absolute worst of the worst, and then at the end of the day, they look around and wonder why they’re once again the losers in the election.
