GOP civil war gets even uglier as Rand Paul attacks Donald Trump’s lapdog Lindsey Graham

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

After Donald Trump gave one of the most alarmingly senile speeches in presidential history today, and then his regime delivered a complete joke of an Iran briefing to Congress, Republican Senator Mike Lee stood in front of the cameras and proceeded to rip the Trump regime a new one. Republican Senator Rand Paul was standing right next to him. They both then signed on to Democratic legislation to limit Trump’s war powers.

This prompted Lindsey Graham to accuse Mike Lee and Rand Paul of “overreacting,” and accused the two of them of helping Iran. Suffice it to say that Paul isn’t exactly taking it well. He just jumped in front of the cameras and accused Graham of wearing a “fake drape of patriotism.”

So now we have a Republican Senate food fight playing out for all to see, and we’re on the verge of an all-out GOP civil war. Notably, Donald Trump has said absolutely nothing about any of this since his nightmarishly inept speech today. He hasn’t tweeted anything all day. His coalition is falling apart in real time, and he’s missing in action. Either he has no idea how to handle this, or he really is too severely in need of medical attention to even function.
