Goodbye, Roger Stone!

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Well, this is going to end about the way you think it will. Roger Stone is already overcome by his fever dream of the Deep State and his narcissistic delusions of grandeur. On Instagram, he just attacked Judge Amy Berman Jackson. This includes a headshot of the judge along with a crosshairs symbol next to her image.

Stone’s motive seems to be to get the judge to recuse or to prove she is biased. In his post, he implies she is compromised by her dismissal of the Benghazi investigation of Hillary Clinton and by her locking up Manafort instead of allowing his home detention to continue. Stone clearly seems to be hoping he can convince the judicial system to do his bidding and give him another judge.
This is how well that went over: while this article was being written, Stone erased his Instagram post. We don’t know if his lawyers wrestled the phone from his gnarly hands, or if he suddenly had an attack of prudence, or if Instagram pulled it, but it has now been erased from his account.

This posting may not be enough to revoke his pre-trial release. Judge Berman could just give him a warning. She may or may not read this as a threat to her safety. But we do know this will not give him another judge, and it will not go over well on the bench.

Another piece to this posting is that the original photo of the judge seemed to come from a site called cosmicconvergence.org, an anti-Semitic, New World Order conspiracy group. The original photo of the judge had a poison sign with the word “Attorney” in the upper right had corner.

You can read Roger Stone’s original post here. Any way you do the math, the only conclusion you can draw are three little words: Lock. Him. Up.
