Good news for the Democrats
Polls are but snapshots in time. However, some polls contain treasure troves of information. And it is one such poll I’d like to tell you about. A new Gallup poll has come out. And the results are shocking but also deeply satisfying — for Democrats.
The poll has found a “new high” among the large number of respondents who say they will vote only for a candidate who is with them on the subject of abortion. Nearly sixty percent of people interviewed said abortion matters deeply. Of the ones who said abortion is THE most important issue, nearly two-thirds say they support abortion rights.
And nearly 30 percent said they would only support a political candidate who feels the same way about abortion rights. And Gallup found a RECORD LOW in respondents who said abortion IS NOT important — only 14 percent said that.
The poll found pro-lifers “less energized” on the abortion issue. As I said, polls are mere snapshots in time. But the thing about the abortion issue is — its importance does not seem to be going away. Indeed, it seems every time a new poll comes out; the abortion issue seems to matter more, not less.
That’s because when it comes right down to it, America isn’t crazy. Contrary to many a Maga who try to claim they’re the MAJORITY, it seems obvious they are, in fact, the MINORITY. And, of course, we knew that. But having our feelings validated is really a treasure in itself.
