George Santos’ unbelievably bizarre last act

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Excuses, excuses! Excuses are all around us. Everybody has one when they do wrong. AMD the excuses can get quite creative. In 2020, Readers Digest published a list of great excuses people have used. For example, one person couldn’t pay the rent — so they told their landlord they just had to go to the casino to see if they could “double their money.”

Another excuse: I’m not coming to work today because someone stole my towels, and I’m trying to figure out who. Then, of course, there is the dog ate my homework excuse. Believe it or not, people have used that excuse. But no excuse, no matter how absurd, comes close to the psychopath’s excuses.

Psychopaths excel in word salads that make no sense whatsoever. If there is an excuse to make, the psychopath will find it. They ALWAYS have an agenda, always. This brings me to a certain psychopath in Congress — one George Santos.

George Santos — or whatever the hell his name is — threatened to resign if the GOP works with Democrats to elect a House speaker. Santos, who supports Gym Jordan, not that anybody really cares, has announced his potential resignation if his GOP buds DARE to work with Dems.

This is an excellent reason TO work with Dems. But in my opinion, Santos is looking for a way out. Perhaps he knows his Congressional days are numbered (Yes, even Santos must have a TINY bit of mental clarity), and this gives him an easy out.

But what an excuse he’s picked! And that shows his psychopathy. If George Santos thinks anyone gives a damn whether he stays in Congress, he’s out of his ever-loving mind. I’m sure some Republicans are praying he makes good on his threat.

But psychopaths can change their minds anytime- they’re volatile and crazy. Still, would it not be delightful if Santos — the ultimate psycho — made good on his threat? I can hear the applause now.
