George Santos starts spilling the beans about his fellow House Republicans on his way out
Now that the House Ethics Committee has formally recommended the expulsion of George Santos, it’s a matter of time before it’s over for him. Either he’ll be expelled now, or expelled later, or he’ll lose the 2024 Republican primary race in hopeless fashion. He’s also on his way to prison if he’s convicted on any of the felony charges he’s facing.
It now looks like George Santos wants to take some of his fellow House Republicans down with him:
George Santos: "Within the ranks of the United States Congress, there's felons galore, there's people with all sorts of sheisty backgrounds … I have colleagues who are more worried about getting drunk every night with the next lobbyists that they're going to screw and pretend…

.
Santos didn’t specifically mention that these scandals involve House Republicans. But if you think about, Santos would really only be in a position to know about his fellow Republicans engaging in this kind of behavior, as opposed to Democrats.
The question is whether George Santos, who lies constantly, has any evidence to support these kinds of claims. No one is going to take him at his word about anything. But he probably knows that at this point. It’ll be interesting to see if he ends up leaking evidence against his fellow House Republicans on his way out the door.
