George Santos is falling apart at the seams
This message was sent to professional liar and con artist George Santos — and by his own party, no less! Republican leaders from Nassau County, New York, have called on Santos to resign, leave and get the hell out of dodge.
“Today, on behalf of the Nassau County Republican Committee, I’m calling for his immediate resignation,” said Republican Chairman Joseph G. Cairo. This happened at a news conference, and there were plenty of other New York republicans there as well.
“He deceived voters. His lies were not mere fibs. He disgraced the House of Representatives. He’s not welcome here at Republican headquarters.” I think it’s fair to say Santos’s political career is over, though like the spoiled brat he is, he is digging in his heels.
“I will not,” he squeaked after being asked by a reporter whether he would listen to more sane voices and clean out his desk. And yet Santos may not have a choice. He is quickly turning into a pariah. Nobody wants to be associated with him, and given all Republicans have put up with, one knows when THEY turn on you, you don’t have a chance in hell.
But because he’s George Santos — a man who doesn’t give a damn about anyone — he is currently refusing to listen. However, back in Congress, Republican Congressmen are not saying much. But whispers are they fear if Santos resigns, a democrat will win his seat in a new election making their majority even tighter than it already is.
And that is likely what will happen. Santos can’t hold on much longer. He has been cast aside brutally, which is no less than he deserves. But he is clueless. He might actually think he has a chance of bouncing back. Soon, however, reality will set in, and hopefully, the liar that is George Santos will realize he is the laughingstock of DC.
