George Santos crashes and burns

George Santos is at it again. House Democrat Ritchie Torres tweeted this: “George Santos is sponsoring legislation that would make the AR-15, an instrument of mass murder, the “national gun” of the United States. First, Santos defrauded the American people. Now he wants to endanger their lives with unregulated guns.”

Fortunately even if this legislation does pass in the Republican House, it will never pass in the Senate. And of course President Biden would never sign it anyway. But if the Republicans were to win across the board in 2024, having a “national gun” is precisely the kind of garbage that would likely become federal law.

Meanwhile George Santos is busy tweeting about a “red wave” in 2024. That’s not likely to happen. Of course the mess that Santos keep making in only helping the Democrats’ odds of taking back the House in 2024
