General Barry McCaffrey rips Tucker Carlson to pieces

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier we brought you the story of Tucker Carlson’s patently offensive meltdown about how women shouldn’t be in the United States military. He’s taking heat for it from all sides, and now retired U.S. Army General Barry McCaffrey is getting in on the act.

It began when a Twitter user named Lethality Jane posted this: “Dear Tucker Carlson and Fox News, I’m a woman who has served in the U.S. military for over a decade. I’ve deployed three times to combat zones, and have been pregnant once while in uniform. Please explain to me how my existence is a ‘mockery’ of the U.S. military.”

General McCaffrey retweeted Lethality Jane in agreement, and added this: “Unlike Tucker Carlson, I’ve seen a lot of combat. Our US Armed Forces are immensely more capable in battle because of the courage and professionalism of our women in uniform.”
