Gavin Newsom slam dunks Ted Cruz
California Governor Gavin Newsom is a popular figure with significant clout. Now he’s using that popularity and clout to come out swinging on the national political stage. Newsom is calling out Senator Ted Cruz:
I’m old enough to remember way back in, uh, March 2021, when @tedcruz was OUTRAGED at the idea of book bans, and sold signed copies of Green Eggs and Ham in protest.
Where is he now on Texas’ cancel culture and the 801 books banned across the state? pic.twitter.com/BhrEkbjro9

Governor Newsom is also working to help Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs get elected as the next Governor of California’s neighboring state of Arizona. Hobbs is a fantastic candidate, and her Republican opponent Kari Lake is an absolute disaster:
Arizona is literally wiping out over a century of progress—enacting an abortion ban from 1901. With no exception for cases of rape or incest.
Time to fight back.
Never been more important to elect @katiehobbs for Governor.
Let’s raise her $100,000 TODAY https://t.co/rgap6FOhlH
