Fulton County grand jury reportedly VOTING RIGHT NOW, indictments incoming
Throughout the day we’ve all been trying to figure out why Fulton County DA Fani Willis was trying to pack her entire grand jury presentation into one day. Was she attempting to bring the indictments by the end of today, and if so, would she succeed? Now NBC News says that the grand jury has begun voting on indictments.
There’s no way Willis would keep the grand jury this late into the night, and have them begin voting on indictments, if she doesn’t intend to have the process wrapped up tonight. So, barring some unexpected fluke, indictments will happen by the end of the evening. And with the way the process works in Georgia, we should know about the indictments within moments of the end of the vote.
To be clear, given the amount of evidence involved, there is a roughly 100% chance the grand jury will vote to indict Donald Trump. That’s not even a question in this case. The real question here is who else is getting criminally indicted alongside Trump. It’s previously been reported that more than a dozen people were on track to be indicted. Reporting over the weekend specifically pointed to Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell. But there should be plenty more names forthcoming. And now we’ll apparently get those names tonight.
