Fulton County criminal probe into Donald Trump heats up

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Periodically, I like to remind Palmer Report readers that a lack of publicly available news about any given criminal investigation does not correlate to a lack of action, progress, or viability in that investigation. 99% of any given criminal probe takes place behind the scenes, and the updates the public does receive are generally several steps behind where prosecutors are at any given point.

We’re now being reminded of this once again. Fulton County Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis is telling the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper that her office has now interviewed more than fifty people as part of its criminal probe into Donald Trump. So much for the popular pundit narrative of late that “nothing” has been happening in the Fulton County probe.

Willis is also confirming that we’re now less than two weeks away from the beginning of the special grand jury process. Once that grand jury begins upsetting the apple cart by subpoenaing hostile witnesses, who will then inevitably go running to the media, we’ll surely begin hearing more frequent updates out of this probe. But for now it’s clear that it’s progressing at a healthy clip, and that Trump has to be as worried as ever about ending up indicted and sent to prison.
