Donald Trump is fully triggered
Whenever Donald Trump or one of his supporters says something truly horrible, and a decent person comes along and calls them out for it, the Trump goons love to insist that the person is “triggered.” It’s a reminder that in their minds, there is no such thing as right or wrong, virtue or vice – there is only bullying. But I’ll tell you something. Right now, Donald Trump himself is indeed very much “triggered.”
When Trump woke up this morning from whatever fever dream he might have been having, he found himself facing his real nightmare: the media is refusing to give any credence to the phony Joe Biden scandal that he cooked up, and is instead giving full coverage to the criminal plot he engaged in by trying to force a foreign leader to go along with the phony scandal.
If the media had focused on the Republican Party’s scandalous plot to invent a Hillary Clinton email scandal, instead of pretending that the phony email scandal was real, Donald Trump would never have made it to the Oval Office. If the media had focused on Donald Trump’s Russia scandal from the start, instead of initially trying to minimize it, he’d likely have been ousted by now. But for whatever combination of reasons, the media is shutting down the fake Biden scandal and is playing up Trump’ criminal plot to create the fake Biden scandal.
This is Donald Trump’s worst case scenario. It’s why he’s spent the day accusing the “Fake News Media” of partnering with the Democratic Party to cover up the Biden thing, insisting “The Fake News knows this but doesn’t want to report!” Trump has lost his ability to play the media like a fiddle. It was the one consistently effective trick up his sleeve, and now it’s finally backfiring on him. No wonder Trump is so triggered.
