Donald Trump’s collapsing health just came front and center in the 2020 election

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Anyone who’s been paying attention to Donald Trump’s public appearances over the past nine months is well aware that his physical and cognitive health have been a disaster ever since his mysterious visit to Walter Reed Medical Center. But Trump’s collapsing health rarely made the headlines, until Trump stupidly tweeted that he didn’t have a “series of mini-strokes,” when no one was even reporting that he had.

Now Trump’s oddly specific denial has finally put the focus front and center on his health. The problem isn’t that Trump allegedly had one or more strokes. Plenty of people have strokes and then quickly recover. The problem is that Trump flat out lied about what happened, and he also forced military doctors to lie about it. This leaves us with no choice but to assume the worst, unless Trump is willing to be examined by independent doctors.

This means we can finally have a long overdue national conversation about how Donald Trump suffered a severe health crisis and then went to great lengths to cover it up, even though the health crisis has been visibly impeding his cognitive function for the past nine months.
