Donald Trump now claims Vladimir Putin framed him in Trump-Russia scandal

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Remember when Donald Trump Jr met with a Russian government lawyer at Trump Tower during the election to try to secure dirt on Hillary Clinton? Yesterday, that Lawyer admitted to NBC News that she’s actually a Russian government spy. This meant Trump Jr committed treason. House Democrats also revealed circumstantial evidence that Donald Trump spoke with Trump Jr on the phone just before the meeting, linking him to the treasonous plot. So how did Trump deal with the whole mess? By accusing Russian President Vladamir Putin of having framed him.

During his political rally speech in Michigan on Saturday night, Donald Trump asserted that Putin planted the spy at the meeting just to make Trump look bad, due to some fully incoherent rationale about Russian sanctions. That’s right, we’ve reached the point where Trump is so obviously guilty, and so comically out of defenses, he’s resorting to claiming that he was framed by Vladimir Putin.

During this same speech, Trump implied that he’s holding some kind of blackmail material over U.S. Senator Jon Tester, without offering any hint as to what it might be, or where he might have gotten it from.

At the rate Donald Trump is going off the rails, we wouldn’t be shocked if by tomorrow he’s accusing Hillary Clinton of having paid off Stormy Daniels. Trump hasn’t been coherent, rational or stable during his time in politics, and he’s been gradually deteriorating for some time. But when you consider tonight’s meltdown within the context of his infamous interview on Fox & Friends this week, his decline is accelerating.
