Fox News now has Kamala Harris ahead of Donald Trump in three key swing states
It’s been a week since Kamala Harris entered the 2024 presidential race, but we’re still waiting for the polls to finish shaking out. Some national polls now have Harris tied with or ahead of Donald Trump, and given the momentum that Harris has, it’s probably time to consider her the tentative frontrunner.
Now things are taking an interesting turn over at Fox News. Its in-house poll, which surveys all voters not just its own viewers, and is surprisingly semi-reliable, says that Kamala Harris is ahead of Trump in Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. We don’t consider Minnesota a swing state (Biden won it by seven points in 2020). But the other three states were all very close in 2020 and collectively decided the 2020 election.
Of course the Fox News poll has Harris ahead of Trump by just two points in Wisconsin and just three points in Pennsylvania, and we don’t want to leave things to chance. We don’t want this to be a dangerously close election. We want to open larger leads than two or three points. So let’s keep the momentum going and shoot for the moon.
