Fox News just stepped in it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As many of you know, I am a huge fan of song writer Jacques Brel. I saw the world through his poetry of music, as I grew up. And I occasionally use his song “Carousel” as a metaphor for life. What I mean by that is that we’re all “on a crazy carousel” together. It’s a big, colorful, noisy, marvelous, crazy carousel of a world, and we’re all in it together. But sometimes, we have to share this carousel of life with people we’d rather not have any part of.

When we find ourselves in those situations, the best thing to do is alert other friends on the carousel — such as I am about to do now. “The internet is in shambles.” That’s a headline on Yahoo. The reason for the internet being in shambles is because of Fox non-news.

Ah Fox — we sure do not like having YOU on our carousel. Fox is in a spot of trouble right now. That’s putting it mildly! This is because someone on Fox said something so crazy, so blindingly horrific and stupid, that a fire erupted on social media with the red-hot anger aimed squarely at the non-news station themselves.

Fox “News” analyst Raymond Arroyo. Now please keep in mind that his title is what Fox calls him. I call him a racist, bigoted pile of shit.

We all know about those cheesy sneakers Trump is attempting to sell. Well, these stinky sneakers were Arroyo’s main topic of discussion during a segment when he said that black people are leaving Biden for Trump because Donald Trump’s sneakers have filled their souls with love, and they just know that Trump GETS them.

“They love sneakers,” the clueless Arroyo babbled. When I first saw this, my friends, I thought it was a joke. Well, of course, it had to be, hadn’t it? Nobody could be THAT stunningly stupid, could they?

Alas — they could. And they were. “This is a big deal, certainly in the inner city,” the moronic man continued. “He’s reaching them on a level that defies and is above politics,” the man went on, seemingly LIGHTING UP with some strange excitement that I hope I never see again.

The pushback was immediate — and when I say IMMEDIATE, I mean — as in SECONDS.

“I thought this was fake till I heard it!!”

I, too, fellow Twitter user, I too.

“They think black people will love Trump because of SNEAKERS?”

“Fox thinks all black people live in the inner city.”

I’ve written many articles about Fox for Palmer Report, my friends. Virtually all of them have had something negative about the network in them. But this is something that caused my jaw to drop. The utter lack of inner awareness, is SO VAST that it’s shocking.

Black people — and brown people — and people of ALL colors are riding with Biden, as our carousel whirls into the future. What they are NOT doing is riding with an orange, senile, racist, woman-hating asshole like Donald Trump. Fox needs to get a clue.
