Fox News just admitted it

It’s important to keep in mind that an outfit like Fox News doesn’t exist to help the Republican Party. Fox News exists to drive ratings and revenue, and its business plan just so happens to consist of milking right wing eyeballs in order to drive that ratings and revenue. And that means that every once in awhile, Fox admits the truth:

Keep in mind that Fox News typically only speaks the occasional truth when it concludes that something is so obvious – even to its right wing audience – that it feels like it has to admit it. So it’s worth noting that Fox seems to think the economy is so good right now, even right wingers can see it.

Of course Fox News will now just go right back to lying about various things. But it’s a good sign for President Biden when even Fox has to occasionally stop and give him grudging credit for something just to keep up appearances.
