Fox News circles the drain

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Shameful! What Fox non-news did was shameful. Shortly after Donald Trump’s court appearance, Fox Non-News introduced him on their network as “‘The President of the United States.” Not former. Current. It happened moments before Trump addressed a group of supporters.

MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle appeared disgusted, saying, “Fox News is doing their damnedest” to help Trump lie. Brian Kilmeade, a Fox host, introduced Trump talking to supporters. “This is the President of the United States!!” Shameful.

Not only that. A Fox Chyron said the following: “Wannabe Dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested.” OK, Fox, you’re gonna stoop to this level, are you? They’re likely desperately trying to get viewers back because their ratings are in free fall.

Since Tucker left, their ratings have been not quite up to snuff. Still, this was low, EVEN FOR THEM. This dumpster fire of a network should not have any place on the air. Nor should they call themselves “news.”

It is known widely among many that Fox is registered not as a news network but as “entertainment.” Only this wasn’t entertaining. Fox can feel no shame which is in itself a shame. Hopefully, their viewers will continue to flee. Nothing would make me happier than this ghastly network going out of business.
