Fox just fired one of its worst hosts
If you work for Fox News but you’re too terrible even for Fox News, you generally end up on Fox Business Channel instead. It’s the journalistic graveyard where people like Lou Dobbs have ultimately landed. Weeks ago, Fox Business Channel host Trish Regan insisted on air that the coronavirus was nothing more than a conspiracy against Donald Trump.
Shortly thereafter, Fox pulled Trish Regan off the air. At the time, Regan announced that her show was being temporarily shut down because there weren’t enough staffers to go around amid the coronavirus crisis. This was embarrassing enough, considering she’d just gotten done pretending the virus wasn’t a real thing.
Now Fox has officially announced that it’s “parted ways” with Trish Regan. Translation: she’s been fired. This is a minor step in the right direction, as Regan was one of Fox’s very worst hosts. Now it just needs to fire pretty much everyone else on Fox News and Fox Business Channel.
