Fox in the henhouse
I often speak about the written word but rarely recommend a specific book. I am, however, suggesting one today. It is “Network of Lies” by Brian Stelter. Stelter writes in detail about the mind poison that is Fox News.
Stelter shows in his book just how evil, pathetic, and sick the Fox people are. He also outlines, with frightening perfection, the intense and deliberate indoctrination Fox designs for its viewers.
Nobody could ever read that book and deny that Fox was a huge part of the mess of Trumpism and January 6. And Fox is starting the new year with a bang!
On New Year’s Day, on the Fox show “Outnumbered,” the conversation was about how, even if Trump goes to jail, he can run the country from prison! Viewers, don’t worry about your pretty little heads a bit! Jail is a fine place for a President to reside!
“He can be president from jail if he has to,” said Dr. Jeanette Nesheiwat, a super-trump fan. That’s not all. Fox has also scheduled a specific town hall. This is Donald Trump’s town hall. Yes, the traitor will be on his favorite Network to answer questions. It is set to air the same night CNN has a debate featuring Haley and DeSantis — naturally.
The things Fox won’t do for money! Those things include telling the truth. The truth was missing from Fox’s Christmas list. The black widow spider that is Fox remains as cold, deceitful, and conspiratorial as ever.
Fox, in a way, is our own Trojan horse. This is because the Fox has stepped into the hen-house. How many people have been brainwashed purely by Fox? How much of the terror Trump has caused people can be directly traced back as having its roots at Fox?
The good news is that Tucker is banished from their poisonous airwaves forever. The bad news is that there are still many lie-tellers on Fox, lying for ratings, fully prepared to try to ruin democracy as long as it nets them a few bucks.
