Not long ago, former Trump attorney Ty Cobb stated his expectation that Donald Trump will go to prison in his classified documents scandal. This prompted Trump to begin viciously attacking and threatening Cobb. But Cobb isn’t backing down.

Now that the text of the classified documents indictment has been publicly unsealed, Ty Cobb appeared on CNN today and stated that it’s “about as carefully structured and evidentially supported as any indictment in history.” This comes after Trump’s former Attorney General Bill Barr also recently stated that Trump is in serious legal trouble in this case.

Meanwhile Trump is having far broader trouble with lawyers. His top two criminal defense attorneys in the classified documents probe apparently quit today, right after the indictment was unsealed. And even Trump-apologist attorneys like Jonathan Turley and Alan Dershowitz, who have famously carved out niches over the past few years by constantly and wrongly claiming that Trump is going to get away with it all, both stated today that the text of the indictment spells trouble for Trump.
