Former FBI Assistant Director accuses Donald Trump of negligent homicide
Donald Trump’s negligent, corrupt, dishonest, psychotic mishandling of the coronavirus crisis has been a crime against humanity. But at what point does it become a crime against the law? Former Assistant FBI Director Frank Figliuzzi thinks we’re there:
.
Think the evidence in Trump’s last impeachment trial was powerful? How about negligent homicide: https://t.co/fkPQFv6Hso

Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner agrees:
Elments of Neg Hom:
1. Grossly negligent act (or a duty to act + a grossly negligent failure to act),
2. Reasonably likely to cause serious bodily injury or death, thereby,
3. Causing death of another (“causation” = conduct which is a substantial factor in bringing about death). https://t.co/JRfPiQsEIe— Glenn Kirschner (@glennkirschner2) April 7, 2020

Of course successfully bringing criminal charges against Donald Trump requires getting him out of office first. But if the nation properly unites behind Democratic nominee Joe Biden, and Trump loses in November, he can then be hit with any and all federal and state criminal charges that are deemed appropriate. The list of Trump’s crimes continues to grow more lengthy and serious.
