Donald Trump just made his foreign allegiance against the United States more clear than ever

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

“President” Donald Trump is a hateful, small, vile man, and he showed it again today. Attacking members of Congress with his Twitter cannon, Trump tweeted out his thoughts about the ability of Democratic Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar to visit Israel. In a tweet filled with lies and incorrect statements, Trump tweeted:

It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep. Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in office. They are a disgrace!

He then followed up that offensive tweet with another one, stating, “Representatives Omar and Tlaib are the face of the Democrat Party, and they HATE Israel!”

Donald Trump’s friend, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, following Trump’s lead, reversed his prior decision and prohibited Omar and Tlaib from visiting Israel during a planned Democratic Congressional visit that was to start this coming Sunday. Israel stated, “The decision has been made; the decision is not to allow them to enter.”

Several strong pro-Israel United States organizations requested that Netanyahu reverse this decision. These groups include the Israel Policy Forum and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. The latter tweeted that while it disagreed with the representatives’ views that are “anti-Israel and anti-peace BDS movement,” they “believe every member of Congress should be able to visit and experience our democratic ally Israel firsthand.”

As has been noted repeatedly by Palmer Report, we have a man in the White House who is dangerous and whose Twitter words lead to bad actions and dangerous ones. For the first time in our nation’s history, we have a president who is singling out opposite party members as enemies and potentially endangering their lives. In addition to being potentially illegal (in 1958, in Kent v. Dulles, the Court dealt with the ability of a communist to travel abroad), it is just wrong for Trump to use his Twitter and presidential pulpit to attack others constantly. And yet again, the feckless GOP remains silent.
