Florida newspaper rips Donald Trump’s stooge Ron DeSantis a new one

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $2097 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

Donald Trump continues to dishonestly and derangedly attack Democratic Governors, as he tries to distract us all from his own failed handling of the coronavirus crisis. Of course it’s the Governors from Trump’s own Republican Party who are botching the crisis by refusing to take action.

One of Donald Trump’s most idiotic stooges is Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, who keeps refusing to shut down his state despite the worsening coronavirus situation. Now the Miami Herald, a leading newspaper in the state, is ripping DeSantis to pieces.

The Miami Herald just published an op-ed titled “Coronavirus is killing us in Florida, Gov. DeSantis. Act like you give a damn.” The article condemns DeSantis’ actions for being “sophomoric” and “inexcusably tone-deaf.” You can read the whole thing here.
