Flashing red light for red states

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s incredible to believe but it’s true. CNBC has released its state rankings. These are the best and worst states to live in. The researchers use 350 different categories to get to their results.. Some of those factors include: Crime. Environmental quality. Health care. Access to child care. Voting rights.

So now the results have been released. And the bottom ten states to live in are all red states. Texas has the dubious pleasure of winning the worst state to live in. Congratulations Abbott!

So here are the ten worst states to live in:

1) Texas

2) Oklahoma

3 )Louisiana

4) Tie between South Carolina and Alabama

5) Blank because of the above-mentioned tie.

6) Missouri

7) Indiana

8) Tennessee

9) Arkansas

10) Florida

Amazing! And deeply saddening. Red states are getting redder, they may also be becoming unlivable.

Now here are the top ten states in which to live. See if you can spot the pattern:

1) Vermont (Congrats, Vermont!)

2) Maine

3) New Jersey

4) Minnesota

5) Hawaii

6) Oregon

7) Washington

8) Massachusetts and Colorado (tie)

9) Blank

10) Connecticut

And there you have it. See the pattern? They’re all blue states.I do wonder what Republicans think about this information though I doubt they even bothered to read it.

But the evidence is there. These are good researchers and the results are striking. Blue states are doing well. Red state are failing. That should be a great big warning but it likely wont be since when do Republicans actually consider the evidence?
