Someone “fixed” Donald Trump’s horrible new painting
Over the weekend we learned that Donald Trump has a ridiculous new painting of himself having a drink with several recent and not-so-recent Republican presidents. The painting was swiftly and widely ridiculed by the internet and the media alike, particularly considering that some of the past GOP presidents either would have hated him, or do hate him. Now someone has “fixed” the painting in question.
Here is Donald Trump’s original painting, which depicts him with the likes of George W. Bush (didn’t vote for Trump), George H.W. Bush (voted for Hillary), Ronald Reagan (hated Trump), Dwight Eisenhower (would have hated Trump), Abraham Lincoln (would definitely have hated Trump), and Richard Nixon (who was a disgraced criminal):
That didn’t sit right with Sarah O’Connell, a popular comedian and film critic, and the host of the Sarah O’Connell show. So she decided to create her own version, which she then posted to Twitter:
Notably, even while removing everyone else, O’Connell decided to leave Richard Nixon in the picture, and it makes sense if you think about it. In any case this painting, and Trump’s apparent belief that these people would have approved of him, merely reveals how delusional he’s become as he circles the drain.
