Michael Avenatti: here come the “fireworks”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Michael Cohen gets caught in a new Trump bribery scandal every few days. Paul Manafort’s former son-in-law just flipped on him. Jared Kushner is cooperating on some level with Robert Mueller. Roger Stone is about to be indicted and arrested. Are those enough fireworks for you? If you need even more, don’t worry, because Michael Avenatti says there’s a whole lot more coming.

Michael Avenatti, the attorney for Stormy Daniels, has been doing a considerable amount to expose and slice and dice Donald Trump and his underlings over the past several weeks. But it’s starting to sound like this has all just been a warm up act. Avenatti now says he expects that there is “going to be a considerable amount of fireworks in the coming weeks.”

Of course he isn’t saying what he’s specifically alluding to. But Avenatii has been particularly active this week. He caught Cohen leaking evidence and ratted him out to the judge. Then Avenatti revealed that Cohen did indeed record his conversations with Trump, hinting that the tapes were seized during the FBI raid of Cohen’s office. If so, that means Special Counsel Robert Mueller will have the tapes soon, if he doesn’t already.

Donald Trump has spent the past few days going over the top in aggressive, defensive, and erratic fashion – even by his standards. That’s because things are closing in on him at an accelerating pace. Now we’ve got Michael Avenatti saying that a whole lot more fireworks are about to rain down on Trump’s head. Stay tuned.
