It also underscores that decisions in the Trump regime, such as Miller’s hiring, aren’t made based on what’s best for the nation, or even necessarily what’s best for Trump. Instead, decisions are made based on whatever puts a smile on the ever-narcissistic and increasingly fragile Trump’s face on any given day.
Because Emily Miller lasted eleven days before being fired, it’s set off a round of jokes about how she lasted precisely “one Scaramucci.” This is in reference to how Anthony Scaramucci was famously fired as White House Communications Director after just eleven days. Scaramucci has since gone on to become a fierce Trump critic who is voting for Joe Biden.
