Now that Donald Trump’s White House Chief of Staff has been caught going to great lengths to try to cover up the Rob Porter domestic abuse scandal, numerous political figures have begun publicly calling for Kelly’s resignation. Trump’s political posse, which has always been the gang that couldn’t treason straight, has now become so dysfunctional that even some of Trump’s own people are now joining the chorus.

Back when Anthony Scaramucci became Trump’s Communications Director, he immediately used his position to force Trump’s Chief of Staff Reince Priebus out of a job. That led to Trump hiring John Kelly as the new Chief of Staff, which led to Kelly firing Scaramucci just eleven days after he’d taken the job. That made the Mooch the first Trump adviser to basically fire himself. Now that Kelly is in trouble, it’s coming full circle.

Scaramucci – who still goes on television and acts as a Trump political adviser and surrogate despite having been fired several months ago – is now demanding that Kelly resign. Mooch tweeted this on Tuesday: “Based on FBI testimony, WH Chief of Staff John Kelly almost certainly knew about credible allegations of domestic abuse against Rob Porter at least 6 months ago – then recently forced others to lie about that timeline. Inexcusable. Kelly must resign.”

What is with these people? Does Anthony Scaramucci think he’s somehow going to end up with John Kelly’s job if he manages to force him out? What next? Will Corey Lewandowski publicly demand the resignation of Sarah Huckabee Sanders? Will Omarosa challenge Kellyanne Conway to a duel? Will Carter Page try to put Stephen Miller in a headlock? This is like Game of Thrones, but with idiots.
