“FIRE THEM” – America erupts after Buffalo police shove elderly man to ground and leave him bleeding

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. In the days since four Minneapolis police officers murdered George Floyd, and protests have broken out nationwide, we’ve seen a number of additional instances of police brutality against protesters caught on tape. On Thursday night, one of the most shocking instances of police violence surfaced, this time involving the Buffalo, New York police department and an elderly man.

The footage shows a group of Buffalo police officers marching down the street in combat gear, when an elderly man approached them in angry but non-violent fashion. In response, multiple police officers pushed him to the ground – including one officer who put his hand on the man’s chest and shoved him as hard as possible. The elderly man hit his head on the sidewalk, and was seen bleeding heavily from his ear. Then things somehow got even worse.

One of the offending officers then stopped and bent over toward the man; there is debate as to whether he might have been intending to offer assistance or pile on further. Another of the officers then instructed that officer to keep walking. None of the numerous police officers helped the man, though one did eventually call for a medic. Someone in a National Guard uniform was then seen trying to tend to the man. You can watch the video of the incident here, but it’s graphic in nature:

Making matters even worse, the Buffalo police department initially tried to claim that the elderly man merely tripped and fell of his own accord. Local TV channel Buffalo 4 News has since reported that two of the officers involved are now suspended. The elderly man is alive, and is being treated for a possible concussion.
