Fiona Hill is destroying Donald Trump in the most devastating way possible
Yesterday we saw Gordon Sondland blow the lid off a criminal extortion plot that involved Donald Trump and most of the leaders of his administration. The only remaining question is how many people Sondland just sent to prison. Today we’re seeing Dr. Fiona Hill destroy Trump in a different, and arguably even more crucial manner.
Fiona Hill has been brought to testify today because she witnessed people like Sondland carrying out the Ukraine extortion plot, and she witnessed people like John Bolton reacting to what was going on. She’s there to testify about what she heard and what she saw. But she also happens to be perhaps the nation’s foremost expert on Russia, and that’s turning out to be startlingly relevant to her testimony today.
Hill is spelling out in expert fashion, for all to see, that Russia really is screwing with our elections. She’s making clear that the “Russia hoaxers” out there, who keep insisting that Russian election interference is a phony conspiracy invented by the left to frame Donald Trump, are idiots. What’s so remarkable is that some of the idiots she’s talking about are right there in the hearing room, in the form of Trump’s House GOP allies.
As the hearings resume, we’ll see how Donald Trump’s House Republican goons try to respond this afternoon to the fact that Fiona Hill is expertly dismantling them to their faces. Hill isn’t just helping to expose that Trump orchestrated a criminal plot. She’s helping to dismantle his entire deranged narrative.
