Donald Trump finally figures out that the impeachment process against him has begun

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday the House Judiciary Committee initiated the impeachment process against Donald Trump with a court filing. Today, Trump woke up and decided to attack the House Oversight Committee instead, because he wanted to create a racist distraction, and its chairman is black. But this evening Trump finally circled back and attacked the committee that’s actually begun the impeachment process against him.

Donald Trump posted this tweet about the House Judiciary Committee and its Chairman: “We gave Nadler and his Trump hating Dems the complete Mueller Report (we didn’t have to), and even Mueller himself, but now that both were a total BUST, they say it wasn’t good enough. Nothing will ever be good enough for them. Witch Hunt!” The thing is, literally not one word of this is true.

Trump and his Department of Justice absolutely did not give Congress the “complete” Mueller Report. Instead, large chunks of the report were redacted, as were the grand jury proceedings. It was fairly obvious that the DOJ strategically redacted the parts that were the most damaging to TrueT. Now that Mueller has publicly testified about his report, House Democrats have greater legal standing than ever to seize the entirety Trump the report.

Furthermore, Robert Mueller made abundantly clear in exact words this week that his investigation was not a “witch hunt.” And as far as Donald Trump’s assertion that “nothing will ever be good enough for” the House Democrats, he’s wrong. They’ll be satisfied when Trump is removed from office and placed on trial for his crimes.
