Sarah Huckabee Sanders unwittingly admits Donald Trump directed a felony criminal conspiracy

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

This evening, Robert Mueller and the SDNY released sentencing memos that formally accuse Donald Trump of having directed a felony criminal conspiracy in an attempt at altering the outcome of the 2016 election in his favor. In response, Trump posted this idiotic tweet which doesn’t help his case at all: “Totally clears the President. Thank you!” Now it turns out White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has gone and made it even worse.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders sent this out to major news outlets tonight with regard to the Michael Cohen sentencing memo: “The government’s filings in Mr. Cohen’s case tell us nothing of value that wasn’t already known.” Uh, wait a minute. In trying to minimize the importance of the Cohen filing, she’s acknowledging that everything in it is already known, and thus by default, true.

In other words, Huckabee Sanders โ€“ who officially speaks for Donald Trump โ€“ just admitted that the criminal accusations made against Trump by the SDNY are accurate. It’s not as if this is going to carry any legal weight, unless it can be proven that this statement was actually written by Trump and his legal team. But in the court of public opinion, this is a disaster for Team Trump.

Donald Trump’s bad day just keeps getting worse. The remarkable part is that, even with Special Counsel Robert Mueller having revealed that he has Trump nailed in detail on too many crimes to list, Mueller has managed to keep most of the evidence secret โ€“ meaning Trump doesn’t have any way of knowing precisely what’s about to hit him.
