Donald Trump’s federal criminal charges

At this point Donald Trump is just about a lock to end up in New York State prison for financial crimes. But that’s not enough. He must also be sentenced to federal prison for treason. Life sentence. Solitary confinement. No visitors. No parole. Trump must never taste fresh air again.

Trump is committing treason by conspiring to overthrow the election. Trump has literally zero chance of successfully overthrowing the election. Both these things are true. You don’t have to pretend Trump has some chance of succeeding, in order to be outraged at his treason.
