Sarah Huckabee Sanders goes berserk after FBI counterintelligence probe exposes Donald Trump works for Russia

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Just when we thought nothing could shock us anymore, this evening we learned that the FBI opened a counterintelligence probe to expose that Donald Trump is working for Russia. So much for mere collusion; this is espionage and treason level stuff. Trump seems speechless at the moment, but White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has plenty to say right now, and let’s just say she’s not taking it well.

The New York Times revealed this evening that the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Donald Trump began more than a year and a half ago, after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey and then admitted that the move had taken pressure off him with regard to Russia. In other words, the FBI interpreted Trump’s words as an admission that he had fired Comey at the instruction of his Kremlin bosses.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued this berserk statement in response: “This is absurd. James Comey was fired because he’s a disgraced partisan hack, and his Deputy Andrew McCabe, who was in charge at the time, is a known liar fired by the FBI. Unlike President Obama, who let Russia and other foreign adversaries push America around, President Trump has actually been tough on Russia.”

Okay, so clearly, the pressure is getting to her as it’s further revealed to the public that she works for a Russian spy who’s only pretending to be the president. She also sounds like someone who’s very afraid she’s going down for obstruction of justice. But that’s nothing compared to the charges that Donald Trump is going down for; he’ll never set foot outside a solitary confinement cell again.
