FBI raids Russian owned condo at Trump Towers in Florida
The FBI just raided a condo owned by Russians at Trump Towers in Sunny Isles, Florida, according to the Miami Herald newspaper. There is no indication that the raid is tied to the DOJ’s ongoing wide ranging criminal probe into Donald Trump. But it’s amazing how many criminals in general, and Russian criminals in particular, are connected to Trump one way or the other.
Donald Trump does not own this particular Trump Towers building, and instead licenses his name to it. But everyone still appears to know what it means whenever the “Trump” name is hung on a building. This same “Trump Towers” building has previously been labeled “Moscow by the sea” by a major newspaper. This is also the same “Trump Towers” that was exposed by NBC News for its Russian “birth tourism.”
It’ll be interesting to see how Donald Trump reacts to this particular FBI raid. If he ignores it, it could be a sign that he’s not connected to whatever is going down there right now. But if Trump angrily explodes about it on social media and defensively claims that the raid is part of a deep state plot against him, that could be a giveaway that he thinks this raid is somehow connected to him.
