Joe Biden closing fast in Georgia, state now neck and neck
Earlier this evening Joe Biden closed within 9,000 votes in Georgia, with plenty more Biden-friendly votes still to be counted. Just now the results were updated again, and now Biden is just 3,600 votes behind.
While we’ve expected Georgia to end up being close one way or the other, it’s now looking like Joe Biden is more likely to win Georgia than lose it. We’ll have to wait for a major news outlet to call it, but we think Georgia may indeed go blue.
Meanwhile Joe Biden is now within 64,000 votes in Pennsylvania. This is crucial because we fully expect Biden to win Pennsylvania, and to win it by a far larger margin than Georgia. If the major networks call Biden for Pennsylvania tonight, then Biden will be the winner of the election – whether he wins any of the other remaining states or not.
