Fake noise

There is a powerful but quiet movement happening. I started noticing women commenting on my Palmer Report and Substack articles, with universal outrage. This silent outrage is being harnessed by the Biden/Harris reelection campaign.

When Biden accepted the interview by CNN host, Lester Holt, (formerly Republican turned Independent), who disgraced himself by continually bringing up the debate instead of the issues, Biden turned the tables on him. Biden demanded, “Seriously, you won’t answer the question, why doesn’t the press talk about all the lies [Trump] told? What’s with you guys? Sometimes come and talk to me about what we should be talking about. Okay? The issues. God love you.” My response would have been, “Fuck you.” But Biden said, “God love you.” This is how skillfully Biden navigates what I now call the media’s fake noise.

Another fake noise maker is Matthew J. Dowd, who recently made the shocking call for Biden to step aside. Using flawed anecdotal evidence from his own experience advising George W. Bush, Dowd claimed that during the 2004 reelection campaign George W. ignored devastating polling numbers due to his political divisiveness. This divisiveness even prompted Dowd to leave the Republican party and register Independent.

The fatal flaw in Dowd’s analogy is that George W. won re-election, basically because he was an incumbent president. If anything, this argument strengthens Biden’s chances, first as an incumbent, with an incredibly successful first presidency, but also because Biden is anything but divisive, passing multiple successful bipartisan legislation. Dowd claims he wants to defeat Trump, but turning against Biden defies his own logic. And the media has now admitted to running with this same kind of argument for ratings.

President Biden has been one of the most effective U.S. presidents in history. He is polling neck-and-neck against a horrible Republican candidate, whom he already beat by 7 million votes. He has the benefit of an incredibly successful incumbency, and the polls have been wildly inaccurate against the Left here in the US, the UK, and France.

Even if these were internal polls, setting off alarm bells among Democrats, imagine how concerned Republicans must be about their own internal polling. All traditional Republicans skipped the RNC, including Trump’s former VP Mike Pence, former POTUS George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, and others.

I get it, we’re all worried about Trump getting anywhere near the Oval Office again. But abandoning Biden makes no sense. Our Democratic leaders like Pelosi and Schumer also keep their strategies quiet. They don’t give anything away to the press because the media will spin it for ratings. Women will NOT be sent back 50 years. The black community has come out strongly against threats to remove our duly elected and internationally praised nominee.

We can’t rely on polls. We can’t rely on the media. By process of elimination, we must rely on our democratic leaders, our amazing POTUS and his administration, and our VOTES. Biden is our candidate. All the rest is not just fake news, it’s fake noise.
