“Extremely odd and incredibly gross”
It appears Republicans are a bit upset. That sounds so politically correct, yes? “A bit upset.” Let me put it another way. Republicans are losing their shit and flipping out before our very eyes. Why?
Well now! This time, you’ll be happy to hear it has NOTHING to do with President Biden — or any Democrat. It has to do with one of their own. “What the HELL am I watching?”
This cry of anguish came from a republican. Actually, it came from MANY Republicans — as they looked on in horror at the GOP response to Biden’s State of the Union.
It appears republicans have enough sense to understand that Katie Britt’s response wasn’t their finest moment. It is odd, is it not? It’s like someone made a wish for the WORST POSSIBLE, MOST HUMILIATING RESPONSE EVER, and the wishing well said obligingly “OK.” Readers, republicans, are in mental anguish about it. Rolling Stone says that they received messages late into the night from:
MAGA Lawyers
Maga Capitol Hill Staff
Members of Trump’s own campaign staff.
These messages were all the same and were basically variations of:
“What the HELL is going on??”
“Creepy,” said one Republican.
“One of our biggest disasters.”
Others were reportedly shivering in their boots, wondering what Saturday Night Live was cooking up for them.
“Hosting a cooking show.”
Republicans were so appalled some didn’t even bother to hide it.
Aw, what is the matter, my dear GOP? This is what you’ve always wanted, yes? Women in the kitchen, quiet as mice, creeping about, voices at a whisper?
This response is being called “The worst ever by any candidate of any party.” Can’t the GOP do ANYTHING right?
The answer to that question is no, they can’t. And now it’s full-on panic as Republicans realize that maybe Stepford is NOT such a great look for them.
“High school freshman speech.”
These were the words of yet another horrified Republican, but I say that’s disrespecting High School freshmen.
“Losing it.”
That’s from the Daily Beast, who says that is the state of play for the GOP right now.
“Biden looks like Superman next to her.”
This is yet another Republican. And I’ve got news for him. Biden looked like Superman WITHOUT her. All she does is highlight how out of touch the GOP is. So yes, this — this — WHATEVER it was , has humiliated the GOP. I join others in calling this extremely odd and incredibly gross response the worst EVER, bar none.
