Exposed: Donald Trump really was Putin’s puppet

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Though we all suspected this for a long time, we now have proof that Vladimir Putin interfered in the 2016 election for the purpose of getting Donald Trump elected president. Did Putin think Trump the best bet for America? Of course not. Putin would love to see the U.S. go down in flames, and he chose the perfect person to set us on that path. The Guardian reported on leaked documents from Russia confirming this information. The Guardian called the papers it examined a “serious and highly unusual leak from within the Kremlin.” We can only wonder who leaked them.

According to the papers reviewed, Moscow considered creating “social turmoil” in the U.S. one of its top “strategic objectives.” They have been successful with that objective. Our country has not witnessed such open hate that we are seeing today since the sixties. It is as if we have been transported in time, with Trump driving the bus by embracing white nationalists, white supremacists, and QAnon believers. Putin apparently recognized early on that Donald Trump would be the perfect puppet for his plan, as he labeled him “impulsive, mentally unstable and unbalanced individual who suffers from an inferiority complex.” While Trump comes across as braggadocios, that behavior is simply a symptom of his true feelings of inferiority, which psychologists say is typically followed by “aggressive behavior.” That pretty much describes him.

The Guardian consulted experts who confirmed that the documents “appear genuine.” They also reached out to the Kremlin to confirm a 2016 meeting to support Trump, which was denied by the Kremlin. The Guardian believes that there is also confirmation of potentially compromising materials regarding Trump, which was collected prior to Trump’s election during a visit by Trump. Though Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov denied the authenticity of documents relating to the meeting, The Guardian believes there is “no doubt” that this meeting occurred and that, eventually, Putin signed off on a plan to interfere in our democracy.

While Putin denies all of this occurred, it is no coincidence that weeks after the surreptitious meetings and order, the DNC servers were hacked, releasing thousands of emails that they believed would hurt Hillary Clinton’s presidential chances. The documents secured outline a well-orchestrated plot to create unrest in the U.S. with “mentally unstable” Trump at the helm. While most do assume Trump to be mentally unstable, these people met with him and likely have a much better view than any of us who have made those assumptions based on his behavior and from the words of former associates, including family member Mary Trump. It all seems to make sense. In four years, Trump was able to upend so many relationships and norms in this country, and his “warm” relationship with Putin was always suspect.

RT.com vehemently denies the information published by the Guardian, claiming that the paper is trying to secure new readers. It is hard to believe that an outlet that has been in existence for over 200 years would put its reputation on the line for increased readership. We will likely see more on this issue in the coming days.
