Everyone piles on after Donald Trump’s “Abolish Suburbs” meltdown

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The further Donald Trump falls behind in the polls, and the more his usual messaging starts to fail him, the more extreme he becomes with his rhetoric. Unfortunately for Trump, he’s getting into territory that’s less about scaring people into voting for him, and more about making everyone roll their eyes.

During his press conference yesterday, Donald Trump insisted that if Joe Biden wins, no one will get to have windows in their homes anymore. Today Trump tweeted that Biden wants to “Abolish Suburbs” – whatever that’s supposed to mean:

.

There’s always a racist element to everything that Trump says, so “Abolish Suburbs” is certainly some attempt at sending a coded racist message to suburban white voters about how Biden will force them all to move to the big city and live among black people, or some deranged thing. Trump’s messaging is becoming every bit as incoherent and laughable as it is racist and evil.
