Everyone piles on after Alina Habba steps in it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump was always going to lose his second E. Jean Carroll trial, and he was always likely to lose it big. Even the best attorney wouldn’t have been able to save Trump from himself. But Trump’s attorney Alina Habba was… not the best. She humiliated herself from start to finish, and some are blaming her for the fact that the damages in the case were even higher than they might have otherwise been.

So you’d think Habba would maybe disappear for a minute. Instead she apparently decided to share a social media post which said that the world needs more women like her and fewer women like Taylor Swift.

The pushback on social media was fast and furious. Attacking Taylor Swift in any context is a good way to get yourself in trouble with her fans. When you’re a clown like Alina Habba and you’re coming off the most humiliating moment of your career, and you’re trashing Taylor Swift for no apparent reason, you’re just asking for trouble.

Alina Habba probably thinks that any publicity is good publicity. But then again, she probably thinks she did a good job in this trial. Now the Swifties, and everyone else on the internet who thinks Habba is a buffoon, are having their way with her.
