Everyone piles on after Donald Trump’s ‘Forrest Gump’ meltdown
There are a thousand things more objectionable about Donald Trump than the fact that he’s semi-illiterate. But at a time when we need all the help we can get when it comes to finishing him off before he can finish America off, it can’t hurt to lampoon him when he makes the kinds of ridiculous spelling errors that leave us all laughing at the pathetic traitor. Now he’s done it again.
See if you can spot where Donald Trump went so horribly wrong here: “Billions of dollars are sent to the State of California for Forrest fires that, with proper Forrest Management, would never happen. Unless they get their act together, which is unlikely, I have ordered FEMA to send no more money. It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money!”
That’s right, Donald Trump tried to tweet about forest fires, but ended up tweeting about Forrest Gump instead. It set off a thousand jokes along the lines of “Forrest Trump” and “Stupid is as stupid does.” Hours later, Trump – or perhaps one of his few remaining staffers – finally deleted the errant tweet and tried again.
In reality, Trump is making the psychotic threat to simply let California burn the next time there’s a forest fire in the state, no matter how many Americans might die in the process. This tweet alone is impeachable. Trump can’t actually carry through with a threat like this, but we can certainly make fun of him for not even being able to spell the thing he’s making empty threats about.
