Eric Swalwell calls out Donald Trump’s dementia

Whenever Donald Trump has periodically spoken in public since leaving office, he’s come off as increasingly senile. Of course no one has been paying attention to Trump’s occasional rallies, so most people haven’t noticed his decline. But with midterm Republican primary voting about to get underway, Trump’s rally speeches are getting more attention – and not in a good way.

Earlier today Trump tried to voice support for Republican candidate JD Vance, whom he endorsed over Republican candidate Josh Mandel. But Trump’s failing brain failed him, and he ended up announcing that he’d endorsed “JP…” before asking one of his handlers for help and eventually landing on “JD Mandel.” Trump is so far gone, he never did circle back and correct it.

It’s now painfully obvious that Trump is suffering from cognitive collapse, and everyone on social media is calling him out for it. Eric Swalwell found a clever way of calling this out while pretending to defend Trump’s dignity:

As long as Donald Trump continues to hold these embarrassing rallies and endorse candidates, he might as well be on the midterm ballot. Swalwell and the Democratic Party are smart for pointing out that the face of the Republican Party is a senile clown, and yet most Republican candidates are still cowering to him.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
