Eric Adams has moved one step closer to ouster tonight

When corrupt New York City Mayor Eric Adams convinced Donald Trump to drop the ongoing federal criminal case against him, Palmer Report immediately called on New York Governor Kathy Hochul to remove Adams from office. Adams had clearly cut some kind of corrupt bargain with Trump that was going to be harmful to New York City. Sure enough, now ICE suddenly has access to Rikers Island, and the Trump regime just stole $80 million from New York City’s bank accounts. But there’s good news tonight.
New York Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado is now publicly calling on Eric Adams to resign. Either Hochul is planning to remove Adams and Delgado is giving her political cover to do it, or Hochul is hesitating and Delgado is trying to force her hand.
Either way, this puts Adams one step closer to removal. The public calls for his ouster have now reached the Lieutenant Governor level. There’s only one more level to go, and Adams will be gone.
