Donald Trump’s entire White House is falling to pieces

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There’s an old saying that you don’t change a horse in midstream, which is true unless your horse is a deranged murderer like Donald Trump. Most Americans are looking to swap him out in November. In the meantime, Trump has decided to change his own horse in midstream, bringing in a new White House Chief of Staff during a pandemic. Let’s just say it’s not going well.

Donald Trump dumped longtime “Acting” Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and replaced him with Republican Congressman Mark Meadows, just as the coronavirus crisis was on the verge of exploding. Meadows is arguably even more of a deranged clown than Mulvaney, so the results have been predictably chaotic.

Bloomberg says that Meadows is already rubbing everyone in the White House the wrong way, and his antics are likely to result in far more resignations than would typically be the case with a Chief of Staff changeover like this. Meadows doesn’t even appear to be warning anyone that they’re being ousted.

Donald Trump’s Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham didn’t learn that she was going to be replaced until she read a headline about it, even though Grisham is close with Melania Trump. This is the kind of chaos you’d expect from the failed Trump regime. It’s also the latest evidence to suggest that Donald Trump, whose cognitive abilities are clearly in freefall, has no clue what’s even going on in his own White House as these corrupt fiefdoms do battle against each other.
