Elon Musk throws a fit after House Republicans reject his budgetary bill

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Faux-President Elon Musk inserted himself into congressional politics this week when he pressured House Republicans into rejecting their own continuing budget resolution. Musk then floated his own continuing resolution, which cut funding for crucial things like kids with cancer.

Musk’s legislation failed badly tonight, with dozens of House Republicans voting against it. It’s clear that the Republican House is already getting sick of Musk, and by extension, sick of Trump.

But Musk can’t handle the fact that he’s too weak and inexperienced to even understand how to herd his own party, and so instead he’s blaming the Democrats. Musk is now pouting on his Twitter vanity platform, ranting about how “A super fair & simple bill was put to a vote and only 2 Democrats in Congress were in favor.” Musk also proclaimed “Shame on [Hakeem Jeffries] for rejecting a fair & simple spending bill that is desperately needed by states suffering from hurricane damage!” No, Musk, you did that.

Elon Musk is finding out the hard way that he has no idea what he’s doing when it comes to politics. Of course this is the same guy who tied up his fortune in a social network and then promptly ran it into the ground, so he’s not exactly mentally competent. It’s not clear what happens next, but how long before Trump blames Musk for the embarrassing fiasco?
